We will never knowingly list, sell, or represent an inauthentic piece. Every single item that passes through Le Pont, whether purchased outright or accepted on consignment, is authenticated before it is photographed, listed, or shipped.
How We Authenticate
Physical Inspection
Every piece is physically examined in detail — materials, hardware, stitching, serial numbers, date codes, and overall construction — before anything else.
Independent Verification
Every piece is independently verified by third-party authentication specialists using a multi-step verification process. Pieces valued at $4,000 and above receive dual authentication through two independent services for additional confidence.
Certificate of Authenticity
A Certificate of Authenticity is issued for every piece sold by Le Pont, providing documented verification of the item's authenticity.
The Lifetime Authenticity Guarantee
Every piece sold by Le Pont is guaranteed to be authentic for life. If at any point a piece is determined to be inauthentic by a recognized, independent authentication service, Le Pont will refund 100% of the purchase price with no questions asked.
This guarantee applies to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.

Brand boutique staff, including those at Chanel, Hermès, Louis Vuitton, and other houses, are not authorized or trained to authenticate resale items. Their opinions do not constitute professional authentication. Le Pont relies exclusively on recognized independent authentication services.
How to Make an Authenticity Claim
Contact Le Pont immediately upon discovery at studio@lepontprive.com.
Ship the piece back to Le Pont using an insured, trackable carrier at your expense.
Le Pont arranges independent re-authentication from a recognized third-party authentication service.
If confirmed inauthentic, Le Pont issues a full refund of the purchase price plus re-authentication costs.
If confirmed authentic, the piece is returned to you at your expense and authentication fees apply.
